2010 Shiraz

From our dry grown vineyards in Watervale, Clare Valley comes this full bodied Shiraz. Open fermentation followed by 10 months maturation in French and American oak hogsheads has resulted in an impressive wine that has been bottle matured prior to release.
Deep ruby in colour, it has aromatics of blackcurrant and a hint of spice. The palate shows rich berry fruits of blackcurrant and blackberries with pepper and well integrated oak.
Soft tannins give a pleasant mouth feel and long palate.
Enjoy with red meat or hearty stews.

2009 Cellar Selection Shiraz
![]()
This full bodied, fruit driven Shiraz has been created using selected parcels of grapes from our Rock Ridge vineyard in Watervale. Rich red loam over deep limestone and the western facing slopes of this vineyard creates a unique terroir for this estate grown fruit.
Our winemaker has retained the intergrity of the fruit, using traditional methods of open fermentation before maturing in French oak hogsheads for 18 months. With aromas of blackcurrant and cherry, the rich flavours of blackberry and plum are followed by fine tannins and a hint of pepper.
Enjoy as a young wine or be rewarded by cellaring for up to 10 years.
